Prompt feeding prompt.. prompt leading prompt.. it’s a world of prompts.. one leading into another .. what are we proud of .. it’s not us.. not our grey matter.. it’s somebody ‘s grey matter and that doesn’t matter anymore.. because in the pool of combined grey matter ..nothing is bedazzling anymore.. because what was average once is viral now and what is viral is superb. If you were impressed by a poem or a story, chances are it would have been intelligently prompted. But did it make you move? Did it prompt you to feel anything?

In this attention deficit world, remaining on top, top voice, top rank is all that is desired. Means don’t matter anymore – and prompts have replaced those means. Everything and everyone can’t be at the top. But as long as we are made to believe that things are within our easy reach, just a prompt away, we will continue to remain in this pseudo world where we are the kings and queens of our prompts.
The conversations of the future will not be deep, but an exchange of prompts. So, imagine if someone is not interested to talk to you further, they will just end that discussion with a Terminal end prompt – bash /quit.
The future of entertainment will be shaped by the quality of our prompts. You may not Netflix in the coming years but you still want to see a movie. So, you would give a prompt online and watch a completely ai created movie because we have been too mesmerized by the VFX effects. Naisha Bose, the AI-generated character, India’s first AI actor will win all the awards, for her diligent and natural acting. Gradually humans will forget what was real and what’s not.
The future wars would be based on the ownership of prompts. Oh yeah, prompts would be a commodity, the best prompts competition, prompt shaming and then, someday someone would terminate the master of all prompts. And the prompt market would crash; everyone would sell their prompts in haste. Sadly, there would be fewer buyers because it would have become prompt less by then.
We have surrendered ourselves to AI .. hey AI .. hail AI.. take all my powers and give me prompts.. the prompts are the currency of trade – and what you trade is your thinking power. You can and should argue that it takes thinking to make a really intelligent prompt – yeah something like asking the genie to make us skilled at asking for wishes. We will become intelligent to prompt better. But in turn, we lose something existential – our ability to think, our ability to create something meaningful and our ability to reflect.
So, in a prompt fed world, what would you reflect on? The beauty of prompts?
